This Privacy Policy describes how miaddy collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use the miaddy mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password), profile information (social preferences, activity interests), people you add to your circle, plans you create, and any notes or content you submit. We also collect device type, app usage data, push notification tokens if you grant permission, and crash reports.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the app, create and manage your account, send plan invitations and notifications on your behalf, generate connection suggestions and nudges, send transactional emails, and detect and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. How We Share Your Information
Your name, profile, and plan details are shared with people you invite or connect with. We use trusted third-party services including Supabase, Resend, Google Places, RevenueCat, and Apple — all contractually obligated to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may access, update, or correct your profile within the app, delete your account at any time through app settings, opt out of push notifications through your device settings, and request a copy of your personal data by contacting us at hello@miaddy.app.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
