These Terms of Service govern your use of the miaddy mobile application operated by Mechelle Wu. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app to harass or harm other users, send unsolicited messages or spam, impersonate any person or entity, upload unlawful or infringing content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, reverse engineer the app, or use it for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the app. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
The app offers a free tier with limited features and a paid miaddy+ subscription billed monthly or annually. New subscribers may be offered a free trial. You may cancel at any time through your Apple App Store account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods. All billing is governed by Apple's App Store terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The app and all of its content — including design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the app.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 CAD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app or by email. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
